What non-American media outlets (excluding BBC) and sites would you recommend for international news?

I’ve tried using international CNN and MSNBC but I still feel it is written and told for a 7th grade crowd. I’ve liked BBC more. But I want a bit of variety. I can only speak English although learning French. What sites would you recommend that do a good job at encompassing news all over the world?
