What are some international hot spots for summer jobs (out of the USA)?
Sunday, June 21st, 2009I currently took a summer job at a vacation hot spot at an entertainment complex (2 resturaunts and 7 bars). There are a few international employees that work under me and I am considering doing something of the sort next summer. I would like a bartending job for 4 months and am curious as to how to go about doing such. As well i am looking for people with experience in traveling to lead me to a certain destination hot spot that I will make money and have a lot of fun!

How do you get PRESS CREDENTIALS (USA) - Online Entertainment Site?
Sunday, June 14th, 2009I am starting a online outlet for movie reviews and entertainment specific content. Is anyone aware of how to gain press status and or credentials as we will be nationwide to international? New area for me!!!

Well, you send your press people with the credentials that YOU make for them… the entertainment company that you are covering will decide whether or not they want to honor them.
I could create my own "press pass" as an online blogger and let a concert decide whether or not they wanted me back stage… if they did, then they would issue me the necessary pass to get past security.
The more people tune into your media outlet… the more seriously entertainers will begin to take you.
I was able to bring my camera to Lolapalooza years back because I ran a local "fanzine" and bought 2nd row seats… they liked it… no one else was allowed to bring a camera.
It always boils down to what kind of audience and coverage the entertainer themselves wants.
Some entertainers don't want big corporate coverage at all… people like me get a lot further with them.

How comes theres no famous Asian singers, international superstars?
Sunday, June 7th, 2009You got Latinos and Black international Superstars, but hardly any Asian. And the most populated race in this world is the East Asian Race..
The only East Asian girl band I can think of is Gwen Stefanis Harajuku Girls, but they werent even a proper Band.
For the movie entertainment side of things I can think of Bruce Lee, Lucy Lu, Jet Lee and Jackie Chan.. But thats it.
It's just the stupid U.S. Media that won't let Asian people with talent get famous!

Sunday, May 31st, 2009hey people can anyone tell me about the in flight entertainment service in the united air 747-400 international flight? what kind of services are available?
In coach, the 747s are only outfitted with standard overhead television screens. Business and First will have PTVs (personal seatback TV screens)
Business and First will also provide underseat laptop power supply.
Other than that, service will be the same as any other United international flight, most likely with meals and snacks provided and other standard amentities.
